FAQ – Warranties

Gulfcoast Networking backs its custom built computers with a three year limited warranty against hardware failure during normal use.  The warranty does not cover physical damage caused by misuse or acts of God.  eg. If you shoot it, lightning strikes it, or your office burns to the ground, it’s not covered.  If it simply dies, we’ll fix it or replace it.  We can do this because we purchase quality components that come from the manufacturer with multi-year warranties.

The Gulfcoast Networking warranty does NOT cover loss of data.  You are responsible for making sure that you maintain backups of any important information.

Brand name computers (eg. Lenovo, Acer, HP, Dell, etc.) and accessories (eg. Monitors, mice, and keyboards) are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties.  These warranties vary in length.  We’ll be happy to look up warranty information on any specific item you might be interested in.  In many cases, third party extended warranty coverage is available.  Contact us for details.
